“The green multi-passionate entrepreneur”
The reason I am called that is as follows. It includes everything I am and what I do. I have a passion for green. As broad as that word is, it can hardly go wrong. I love nature, I have a passion for sustainability and of course I am also a fan of the color. In addition, I am a multi-passionate entrepreneur, because I grow multiple companies with passion and also have countless hobbies to fill my spare time with. In my dictionary 'bored' does not occur.
I have been carrying my passion for green and sustainability with me all my life. Growing up in the countryside, where the forest was my playground. Because of the large space available, I grew up in and with nature. A seed full of love had been planted in my heart.
The problem arose when I had to go to college; what do I want now? What I didn't know at the time was that I could describe myself as a multi-passionate. From my environment I was mainly told 'choose what makes you feel best' and also 'look at the study that can give you the best future'. The answer was not forthcoming, I really didn't know.
“The choice fell on Applied Biology. A safe choice with multiple future possibilities ”.
Out of my love for nature, I eventually chose to study Applied Biology with the help of my father. A safe choice, which would be broad enough to make choices at a later date. To me the benefit of this study was clear; I could go on an internship abroad for 10 months. A motivation that helped me through the first two years.
However, after three years of studying, it was not yet clear. The internships were great, but the research I had done and the things I had achieved didn't resonate with me at all. I felt no satisfaction.
"An unexpected switch"
Out of curiosity and after encouragement from one of my teachers, I decided to continue my studies with a specialization in entrepreneurship. An unprecedented energy was released in me when I made my long-cherished dream of developing an overnight accommodation a reality. For five months I was unstoppable. I knew I had tapped my own gold mine!
"How do you become everything?"
At the same time I found out by accident that I was a multi-passionate. My gaze slid down the backs of books when the title "How to Become Everything" caught my eye. Within a day I finished the book. The realization that as a multi-passionate I was allowed and could do several things, was a great revelation. It also made me realize that what I would do today should not affect my life in 50 years. I was suddenly allowed to experiment, give everything to simply have tried something.
I never expected that one specialization in entrepreneurship would bring me here. I have never seen myself as an entrepreneur. Neither my parents nor my family are real entrepreneurs, so I never had that ambition. Nevertheless, I now know, through trial and error, but especially with a lot of enthusiasm, that being an entrepreneur is a perfect fit for me, based on the fact that I am a true, green, multi-passionate.

In the past year I have often run into myself. I have always set the bar high, but because of this I also ran into obstructing beliefs extra quickly and extra often. Those beliefs have protected me for years, but also kept me small. Because I now started doing business and experimenting outside my comfort zone, I was often confronted with these thoughts.
It has therefore been an intensive process, but I knew from day one that I wanted to get the most out of it. I have found that traveling is an indomitable wish for me. Seeing the world, enjoying nature and discovering other cultures is high on my priority list. I am aware of the effect of travel on the environment and try to do this in the most conscious and sustainable way possible. Discovering the best choices in this is an adventure in itself.

My higher goal is to connect others with nature, as I have experienced it myself from childhood. It brings you happiness, peace and in the case of an investment also financial freedom. An invaluable combination. All my businesses therefore fit in seamlessly with that green, financially free, happy life. For me, a Tiny House is an embodiment of that life.
